한여름은 보이스 퍼포머이자 사운드 아키텍트로서 전자음악부터 재즈, 팝, 클래식, 한국전통음악 등 다양한 장르를 다루며 국내외의 예술가들과 협업하여 작품을 선보이기도 한다. 퍼포먼스 그룹 ‘PLPL; PLOTPLAN’, 아프로아시안 밴드 'AASSA; Afro Asian SSound Act'로 활동했으며, 현재는 음악감독으로도 활동 중이다.
주요작으로는 <Fragility Test(2015)>, <Vacuum Times; 十長生圖(2016)>, <NO NAME ROMANCE(2017)>, <능력소녀(2017)>, <TRÈS BONBON(2018)> 등이 있다.

RHOMBVS에게 음악을 한다는 것은 곧 ‘VOICE가 되는 것’이자 ‘VOICE를 수행하는 것’이다. 따라서 그의 작업은 VOICE에 대한 지속적인 탐구이자, 그것을 확장하고 변주하는 하나의 발전적 해석으로 이루어진다. 

음악과 목소리, 소음과 환경음, 잔향과 침묵은 서로 분리된 음향적 재료가 아니기에, RHOMBVS는 이들이 작품 안에서 맺는 관계와 거리, 밀도와 시간성을 함께 구성하며, 소리를 통해 작품이 머무를 공간과 시간을 구축한다. 즉 사운드는 작품 위에 부가되는 요소가 아니라, 작품을 성립시키는 구조와 논리 그 자체이다.

이러한 관점에서 RHOMBVS는 개별 소리를 단순히 만들고 디자인하는 것을 넘어, 소리를 통해 작품의 공간과 시간, 그리고 그 안에서 발생하는 관계를 설계하며, 자신을 사운드 아키텍트로 정의한다.

Yorm Han is a singer-song writer and voice-performer who is also known as her one-man project, RHOMBVS. She plays varied genres of music including electronic music, jazz, pop, classical music, and Korean traditional music, and also presents collaborative works with many different creators inside and outside of Korea. She was a member of a performance group, “PLPL; PLOTPLAN”, and music band "AASSA; Afro Asian SSound Act". Currently, she also works a music director.
Yorm’s representative works include <Fragility Test(2015)>, <Vacuum Times; 十長生圖(2016)>, <NO NAME ROMANCE(2017)>, <Superpower Girl(2017)>, and <TRÈS BONBON(2018)>.

For RHOMBVS, making music means ‘being VOICE’ and ‘performing VOICE.’ RHOMBVS’s practice is therefore an ongoing inquiry into VOICE—an evolving interpretation through which it is continually extended and transformed.

Music and voice, noise and environmental sound, resonance and silence are not treated as separate sonic materials. RHOMBVS constructs the relationships, distances, densities, and temporalities they form within a work, building through sound the space and time in which the work can reside. Sound is not an element added to a work; it is the very structure and logic through which the work comes into being.

From this perspective, RHOMBVS goes beyond simply making or designing sound, constructing through sound the space, time, and relationships that constitute a work. Based on this approach to sound, RHOMBVS defines themself as a Sound Architect.
